BNY Mellon's Goodsir joins PFS as adviser

The Personal Finance Society (PFS) has announced that Scott Goodsir, managing director and head of wholesale for BNY Mellon Asset Management, has been appointed as an adviser to its board.

Goodsir's career in financial services began in 1990 when he joined AMP, advising a broad range of clients. In 1995 he moved onto Royal Bank of Scotland portfolio management, advising discretionary services to high net worth individuals. His career at BNY Mellon began in 1999 as sales manager for Newton in the south east of England, predominately working with IFAs and discretionary managers. In 2004 he took over the role of offshore business development manager, building relationships with global life insurance companies, private banks and discretionary fund managers in the Channel...
