Former Cofunds head of sales and marketing Alastair Conway has joined James Hay Partnership as chief executive.
Conway is to take on the role at James Hay, part of IFG Group, on 4 March.
As part of a wider reshuffle, former managing director of James Hay Tim Sargisson is becoming chief executive officer of the IFG Financial Services Division.
Conway (pictured), who was sales and marketing director at Cofunds, left at the end of January having spent five years at the business.
He was previously head of proposition at network giant Sesame and CEO of Clear Group, an IFA firm.
Mark Bourke, CEO of IFG Group, said: "James Hay Partnership has strengthened significantly over the last number of years. Tim has been a driving force in this success and in particular the development of our new product offerings."
He will be taking up the role of CEO of the IFG Financial Services Division managing a number of adviser businesses with a brief to grow them in the post Retail Distribution Review (RDR) world.
Cofunds said it was splitting its sales and marketing roles following Conway's exit, with head of proposition Verona Smith becoming director of marketing, and head of investor and wealth distribution Andy Coleman becoming a director.
