David Palmer has joined Ashcourt Rowan as a business director within the wealth manager's asset management arm.
Reporting to group CEO Jonathan Polin, Palmer will work with David Esfandi, MD of Ashcourt Rowan Asset Management, with a focus on developing the funds business and driving the transition to a new operating platform.
Palmer joins from Generali, where he was founding CEO of the company's portfolio management division, having previously been head of private clients at Rea Brothers' investment arm.
"David brings more than 20 years' experience of building and running successful investment businesses, which will be invaluable as we continue to expand our asset management offering," said Polin.
"This is the latest in a series of senior hires for Ashcourt Rowan, following the arrival of Hugh Ward as chairman at the beginning of the year and Emily Morris as group head of marketing in December."
