Software firm IRESS is launching a cashflow modelling tool, as part of an expansion of its wealth platform.
The company, which provides portfolio management and compliance to firms including Sesame Bankhall Group (SBG), said the XTOOLS+ service will allow advisers to model investment, property, pensions and other assets across any time frame.
Business development director Mark Loosmore (pictured) said: "RDR has brought clear focus on advisers to demonstrate the value of advice and their services.
"Many advisers are responding by producing planning services that explore the range of potential financial strategies open to their clients.
"XTOOLS+ is ideal to help these advisers in this planning process, speeding up the generation of financial planning reports."
SBG's head of adviser technology James Stevenson said the firm expected its use of cashflow planning to "grow significantly" in 2013.
