The ex-chief executive of Saunderson House, Nick Fletcher, has launched a new IFA firm, London Wall Partners.
The firm, which opened today, will be led by Fletcher and global investment manager and economist Jeremy Beckwith. Beckwith is the former Kleinwort Benson CIO.
The firm is partner-owned and funded, and aims to provide conflict-free advice based on an unbiased assessment of the market, principally to individuals, but also to trusts.
The team will include Mark Johnston, formerly a director in KPMG's financial services practice. Johnston will join the firm as chief financial officer and chief operating officer.
The investment committee includes two experienced independent consultants, Ingrid Kirby who spent 25 years with Hermes pension fund managers and Dan Kemp, an experienced investment fund and securities specialist.
Iain Brown and Mark Bogard have been appointed to the firm's advisory board to ensure a credible and robust governance structure. Brown was a former company secretary with the FSA, Bogard is a lawyer and high profile financial services practictioner.
Fletcher, who left Saunderson House in January after 18 years, said: "I am confident we have the expertise and talent to respond to any economic climate, including the current one, and to meet the needs of those who have worked hard to build their capital."
