Sanlam Private Investments UK (SPI) has appointed Craig Massey as chief executive officer.
Massey has previously worked as head of stockbroking and private client investment management at the parent company SPI South Africa for ten years.
Prior to joining SPI, Massey was a director of Merrill Lynch South Africa. He originally trained as a chartered accountant and spent more than seven years with Deloitte and Touche.
This latest announcement follows a number of senior appointments at SPI over the past few months.
The most recent of these was a new head of business development, Bruce Ely-Johnston, who this week joined from London & Capital Asset Management.
Other appointments were part of a wider restructuring of its investment team and included Richard Champion as chief investment officer, Paul Surguy as head of managed funds and Pieter Fourier as head of global equities.
The company continues to offer integrated investment management solutions for high net worth individuals and their families, trusts, charities and corporates.
These solutions are delivered through Sanlam's IFA network as well as directly to the client.
