Skandia head of digital marketing, Jeremy Mugridge, has left the business to join a product design agency.
He joins Instinct Studios, which designed Skandia's risk tolerance app, after five years at the platform.
He previously held senior positions at Cofunds and Zurich.
Skandia marketing director, Nick Dixon, said: "The risk discussion app is just one example of how Instinct Studios has helped us deliver innovative new services which have been highly valued by financial advisers.
"Jeremy's knowledge and energy will be an asset to Instinct and we wish him every success in his new career."
Skandia is yet to appoint a replacement for Mugridge.
Majid Shabir, founder of Instinct Studios, said Mugridge would bring "a wealth of experience" to the company.
