Sesame Bankhall Group has begun rolling out a new advice platform to its member firms.
The XPLAN technology, designed by software company IRESS, helps firms manage their customer relationships, workflow and documents, and provides a number of advice tools, including attitude-to-risk and asset allocation tools.
IRESS, which principally builds and supplies wealth management systems in Australia, first entered the UK market in November last year. It secured a deal with Sesame Bankhall shortly afterwards.
Mark Thelwell, the managing director of the group's UK business, said: "I am immensely proud of how much the IRESS team has achieved in such a short period of time.
"I believe the flexibility brought by XPLAN is a technology necessity for UK advice businesses as they face reforms under RDR and I look forward to helping other advice businesses adapt and drive process efficiencies."
