Advisers consider confidence and positive attitude to be the top characteristic of the most successful financial advisers in the industry, according to a poll posted yesterday.
The poll which appeared on community IFA site IFA Life yesterday and has been answered by 36 IFAs so far, has seen eight advisers (22%) vote for 'confidence and positive attitude' as the most important attribute of a successful adviser.
Having an ultra-clear proposition is the second most popular option at 14% of the vote, while persistence and determination and consistent and regular marketing activity are both neck and neck at 11%.
'Thinking outside the box', and 'goal setting' are the listed characteristics that have received the least votes so far at just 3% each.
