Positive Solutions has appointed former Honister CEO Richard Pearson as its chief operating officer.
Pearson stepped down from his former position in March after joining the company, formerly The Money Portal, in 2004.
Peter Coleman, CEO of Positive Solutions said: "I am very pleased to welcome Richard to Positive Solutions.
"His skills and experience in running a large IFA business and the insights he brings from having practised as an IFA for more than a decade are a welcome addition to our board and management team."
Pearson said Positive Solutions, owned by provider Aegon, "is a great business that is prepared for RDR and, having started the return to profitability, is poised to benefit from the opportunities that lie ahead."
He added: "I am delighted to join Peter and the board in leading Positive Solutions and ensuring that we continue to strive for quality in everything we do."
