Capital Platform has launched a proposition designed to make research, compliance and investment into alternative products as efficient as possible for intermediaries.
Alongside research and due diligence into the alternatives market, the alternative investment platform offers back-office and compliance support and specialist PI cover.
Features include more than 20 investments from different providers, network support services, suitability reports and TCF templates.
Registration on the platform is free for intermediaries, with users able to access a technical assistance resource team available online and via the telephone 24 hours a day.
Capital Platform director Darren Beddard said the platform will save advisers time and allow them to concentrate on providing investment, financial planning and tax advice.
"The ongoing economic and stockmarket challenges are prompting investors to review their investments and to seek out alternatives to traditional products," said Beddard. "Alternative investments can provide a valuable addition and diversifier in a HNW or professional investor's portfolio.
"However, keener focus on this area of the market from the Financial Services Authority (FSA) has meant intermediaries wanting to advise on these investments need a solid support mechanism and to know they have covered all the regulatory bases."
