Sense has launched a range of business support services for advisers working outside the company network.
The services, called Sense Support, will include compliance and IT and are most likely to be taken up by directly authorised advisers, according to Sense commercial director Steve Young.
A compliance package can be purchased for £195 a month and will provide two audits, online support and telephone help desk services. IT support can be purchased separately on a ‘pay-as-you-go' basis.
Although Sense uses a single technology solutions, Intelliflo, it is able to provide support on a range of technologies as a result of its acquisition of specialist IT consultancy Galena in January this year.
Young said: "We expect most of the companies taking up these services will be directly authorised, some may be from other networks though."
Unsurprisingly, Young said that the company would like to see some of the firms that take up Sense Support joining the network. However he added: "We would not be for everyone. We are only appropriate for smaller companies and only offer services around life and pensions."
Sense managing director Tim Newman said: "Sense Network was designed with the post-Retail Distribution Review (RDR) adviser business in mind. We have had an increasing numbers of requests to extend our services to a wider audience outside of the network."
