IFA and discretionary investment manager AFH Financial Group has entered into a joint venture with South Wales-based chartered accountants Broomfield & Alexander.
Broomfield & Alexander Wealth Management has been established as an appointed representative of AFH Independent Financial Services.
The move follows AFH's acquisition in April of Nottingham-based IFA Arden Court Group.
AFH, which has more than 80 advisers, said it will work with Broomfield & Alexander to offer a fully integrated range of tax and financial planning services.
It said the new wealth management venture can "set itself apart from other
more traditional IFAs" through AFH's discretionary investment permissions.
Broomfield & Alexander is the largest Chartered accountancy practice in South Wales with offices in Cardiff, Newport and Swansea.
AFH chairman and CEO, Alan Hudson, said: "I see both Broomfield & Alexander and AFH as two complementary and client-focused businesses seeking to deliver end-to-end solutions to a wide range of clients.
"We are delighted they have chosen us as partner and we look forward to working with them to grow the JV into a leading and recognised brand."
