Jaki Platt, the head of retail platform distribution at Zurich Financial Services, has left the company for personal reasons.
Platt was in the role for 13 months after being promoted from area sales director.
She previously worked as an executive sales consultant at Skandia before being named platform team sales manager with Selestia Investment Solutions.
Zurich said Platt's departure would not affect the development and distribution of its retail platform. "We have got a good team in place with a good breadth of knowledge and expertise", a spokesperson said.
"We are currently reviewing the team structure to ensure that we have the right framework in place to ensure a successful roll-out of our platform proposition."
The company said the roll-out of the platform has been delayed again and would now be made available to selected partners in this quarter.
It had already been delayed and Zurich said the platform would be launched in Q1 2012.
