Honister Capital has adopted a financial planning tool from Advisa Centa and will roll it out to its 1,200 advisers.
The online technology combines fund and product data with probability modelling and risk profiling techniques.
It will allow advisers to view their clients' portfolios alongside their risk profile and expected return on investment, carry out regular rebalancing to optimise returns, and predict likely future returns.
The company said the technology will help advisers to demonstrate the value of financial advice to their clients.
Jason Chapman, product and marketing director at Honister Capital, said:
"The retail distribution review is challenging advisers to create a new proposition for their clients.
"The changes we are introducing to our service will help advisers present their proposition."
The company also recently updated its attitude to risk questionnaire, as well as its time based asset allocation model.
Advisa Centa caters for both restricted and whole of market advisers and the online technology is regularly upgraded based on adviser feedback and industry developments.
