Platform Cofunds has appointed Axa Wealth's Andy Coleman as head of sales for its wealth and investor channels.
Coleman, who previously led the sales team at Axa Wealth, starts in January 2012 and will report directly to Cofunds' sales & marketing director Alastair Conway.
"To have secured an individual of Andy's calibre from one of our competitors at a time of such unprecedented industry change is great news for both Cofunds and our clients," said Conway.
Coleman will drive rollout of Cofunds' new products and services, including implementation of its new pricing model next year.
"As we move towards RDR it is vital that a platform can demonstrate significant scale and is able to derive sufficient returns to allow re-investment in its offer - Cofunds is one of the few businesses to do this," said Coleman.
