Aviva is reviewing more than half of its jobs in Ireland as it plans to move its Dublin headquarters to London, according to reports.
The insurer could cut up to 700 of its 1,600 jobs in the country, the Irish Independent reports.
The move would be part of a "restructuring" exercise which was sparked by a 17% fall in sales in the pensions division last year.
Aviva told the newspaper the review is still ongoing and as such it is too early to speculate on job losses.
