Ex-Gartmore multi-managers join North

Former Gartmore multi-managers Ari Towli and Nick Roberts have joined John Husselbee's multi-asset boutique North Investment Partners.

The pair will work alongside Nick Stanhope on the whole multi-manager range, which had £450m under management as at May 2011. They will report to chief executive Husselbee. The managers will work to develop specialist risk solutions tailored to clients’ needs, the group said. At Gartmore the pair were involved in the design and management of the firm’s multi-manager range, which launched in 2004 and run by Bambos Hambi and subsequently Tony Lanning.
