Capita appoints Adam Byford as managing director

Capita Financial Software has appointed Adam Byford as managing director, following Matt Humphrey's resignation.

Humphrey is stepping down to spend more time with his family, according to Capita. New MD Byford will takeover with effect from 3 May, though Humphrey will not leave until July after a comprehensive handover period. Byford joined Webline in 2005 and has been with Capita since its creation. He was appointed to the senior management team in 2009. Elsewhere, Capita has recruited Jonathan Phillips to the role of enterprise sales manager.
