St. James's Place has appointed former Skandia tax head Colin Jelley to the new position of divisional director private clients.
Joining the wealth management group in May, he will spearhead plans to broaden its service offering to meet the needs of high net worth clients.
Jelley (pictured) was most recently head of proposition and head of tax & financial planning at Skandia, where he worked for 17 years.
He is also a member of the UK Technical Committee of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners which co-ordinates debate on technical and legislative issues affecting clients of the trusts and estates profession in the UK.
"I believe St. James's Place is uniquely positioned to build on the strong relationships its partners have with their clients and I am really looking forward to helping to develop this part of the business," says Jelley.
