Thinc founders Gregg Taylor and Neil Harkin have launched What Partnership, a service offering alternative investment products for SIPPs.
The B2B service allows advisers to advise on the products, which include overseas property, under their own brand or refer clients to What Partnership.
Harkin says the company has engaged Exclusive SIPPs, a service provided by financial advice firm 1Stop Financial Services, to help advise on the products.
What Partnership will target advisers' clients who may have multiple pension arrangements that are not delivering the growth they were expecting, Harkin says.
"One of our key assessments for the products we provide access to, is whether they can be held within a SIPP."
However some IFAs and SIPP providers have warned that while many companies offering investment advice on overseas properties are regulated, the FSA does not regulate the actual investment schemes.
What Partnership follows on from Harkin and Taylor's launch of general insurance distributor What Insure at the beginning of 2011.
