Pointon York has launched Family Trust, a retirement planning tool for families and business associates.
The Family Trust allows members to appoint Pointon York's own trustees, Crescent Trustees, rather than acting as member trustees themselves and can be used to deliver scheme pensions, the SIPP provider says.
"Our bespoke Family Trust product can deliver scheme pension in retirement to ensure that the savings amassed by its members are used in the most effective manner," says Catherine Christopher, technical specialist at Pointon York.
"Crucially, under new legislation from April, scheme pension will be the only way for clients to guarantee the £20,000 per annum minimum income threshold whilst retaining control of their pension fund and investments."
Natalie Oliver (pictured), head of marketing at Pointon York, says the product has been designed following IFA feedback.
"IFAs will enjoy cradle-to-grave service for all elements of the scheme from a dedicated technical specialist, while their clients receive a tailor-made pension," she adds.
