Specialist life insurer Just Retirement has appointed three senior directors as it seeks to develop its proposition.
Mark Hawthorne has been appointed commercial director and will focus on the design and development of all aspects of the group's commercial offerings, including new partner and intermediary propositions, new product development, pricing and analysis.
Peter Borley is named director of change management and will be responsible for coordinating the development of the firm's business strategy.
Meanwhile, Steve Lowe is joining as director of external affairs responsible for public relations, public policy, industry co-ordination and knowledge leadership.
David Cooper, Just Retirement group marketing and distribution director, says: "Just Retirement continues to grow its already sizeable appetite to lead and improve financial services and solutions available to those at and in retirement.
"We will continue to drive innovation and set new standards for product design and solution development, both for intermediaries and their customers. This continues to form the core of Just Retirement's strategy and to this end these three appointments are critical to achieving this."
Just Retirement was acquired by Permira-backed investment vehicle Avalon in September 2009.
