Skandia has launched a series of online videos designed to help advisers with client segmentation and explain platforms to clients.
Of the five videos currently available, four are aimed at financial advisers and can be accessed via the Skandia website and one targets consumers and can be viewed on the Skandia YouTube channel. A further two videos are set to be launched soon.
"The launch of these online videos is a result of demand from advisers and customers for more online content and support," says Skandia platform specialist Jeremy Mugridge. "We designed the videos to be brief and easily digestible so that both consumers and advisers are able to clearly understand the benefits that platforms and their tools can offer."
The videos aimed at advisers cover topics ranging from client segmentation to the tools available via the Skandia platform and how they can be used to help customers. Videos currently available are: segmenting your client base, why use a platform, using the managed fund analyser and Skandia's with-profits analyser.
The consumer video focuses on helping understand what an investment platform is and how it can help them reach their financial goals. Whilst primarily aimed at consumers, the video can also be used by advisers to help explain and sell the concept of platforms to consumers.
