BIBA adds new blood to healthcare group

The British Insurance Brokers' Association (BIBA) has added two new names to its healthcare focus group.

Mike Izzard, managing director of Premier Choice Healthcare and former chairman of the Association of Medical Insurance Intermediaries (AMII) is joined on the committee by Wayne Pontin of Jelf Employee Benefits. The appointments follow the committee's decision earlier this year to broaden its remit from private medical insurance to wider healthcare issues including income protection, critical illness and group life insurance.
