Wealth manager Ashcourt Rowan has made two new appointments to its business development team as the business embarks on the next stage of its expansion.
Ian Hancock joins from St. James's Place Wealth Management, where he was head of client management, while Felicity Poole joins from the Home Office.
The appointments come after Ashcourt Rowan Financial Planning's acquisition of the IFA business and assets of Co-operative Bank Independent Financial Advisers. The deal brought Ashcourt Rowan's funds under management and influence to in excess of £3.3bn
The new hires also mark the next stage of the firm's expansion and an increased focus on marketing and business development, it says.
"Building our brand and our business networks are key to building upon Ashcourt Rowan's throughout 2009 and 2010," says business development director Chris Williams.
"Having Ian and Felicity as part of our team will make our asset managers, IFAs and business-to-business consultants even more effective in expanding our reputation and client base."
Ashcourt Rowan, a wholly owned subsidiary of Syndicate Asset Management, was created following the merger of Ashcourt Asset Management, Ashcourt Financial Planning and Rowan Asset Management by Syndicate in January 2010.
