Standard Life head of trading Mark Polson is leaving the company.
Polson, who leaves on 15 September, joined the insurer to help develop its platform operations but the full integration of the wrap within the business means his role has become redundant.
"In light of the changed nature of the role that Mark Polson currently undertakes, we have agreed that Mark will leave the business to pursue other opportunities," says Standard Life.
Polson joined Standard Life Savings as head of communications in January 2008 from Scottish Life where he was head of corporate business.
Standard Life launched its wrap platform in 2006 while FundZone, the firm's mutual fund supermarket, went live in 2007.
