Aviva's Charles joins Swip UK equities desk

Aviva's Jeremy Charles has joined Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (Swip) as an investment director on the UK equities team.

He will be involved in the management of Swip's core UK retail and institutional funds and will help to develop the equity business strategy. Charles will be based in Edinburgh and report to Peter Cockburn, the head of UK equities. Charles has spent 23 years working for Aviva UK Life where he was a senior portfolio manager. Prior to this he worked for Shell Pensions, Shell Trust Bermuda Ltd and Canada Life.
