JO Hambro Investment Management's Charles Bathurst has stepped down as head of funds distribution.
Bathurst, who has been with JOHIM since September 2008, will stay on as a director of its offshore fund companies Waverton Investment Funds, Pepin Fund and Tai Chi Fund.
However, he will be replaced in his current role by HIM Capital's head of sales and marketing James Du Boulay.
Du Boulay will be based in London and reports to head of marketing Stephen Browne.
"James has a very successful track record of increasing inflows into long-only and hedge fund products and launching new funds to the market," Browne says. "Having someone of his calibre working in our team will undoubtedly support plans for the growth of the fund business."
"Charles Bathurst has been instrumental in expanding the Waverton platform and our range of hedge funds. We thank him for his valuable contribution and look forward to our continued relationship with him.
"With the key funds now established, and a dedicated sales function on board, JOHIM believes the business will continue to grow and prosper."
The forces at play in investment - most obviously, regulatory change, uncertain markets and shifting demographics - are as strong today as they were when Professional Adviser launched its sister magazine Multi-Asset Review in 2017.
