Skandia has added the Iveagh Wealth fund to its investment solutions platform and life and pensions fund range.
The global multi-asset UCITS III fund from Iveagh Private Investment House - the asset management firm of the famous Guinness brewer family - targets a nominal return of 10% and invests predominantly in daily-dealing quoted securities.
Iveagh says demand from advisers for wealth preservation is driving the success of the fund, now holding more than £200m in assets under management.
"Feedback from advisers tells us they are drawn to our ability to preserve wealth, particularly during the last two years in the worst economic environment in living history, as investors re-evaluate the strategy behind their investment portfolio," says Iveagh Private Investment House CEO Paul Ross.
The fund's portfolio universe is drawn from alternatives, real assets, major market equities, emerging market equities, bonds and cash. A strategy aiming to increase returns by making quarterly adjustments to holdings makes use of ETFs and the purchase of government bonds.
