Fortis Life UK has linked with Sesame to give its advisers access to its range of protection products.
The deal gives all Sesame appointed representatives access to Fortis' product range and application systems.
With other major distribution deals in the pipeline, the life insurer expects to be available to the whole IFA market in 2010. After the Sesame deal, it will have access to around 15,000 advisers.
Managing director of Sesame Nick Kelly says: "We have been impressed by the way in which Fortis has embraced technology as part of their proposition, which enables the majority of clients to receive instant decisions through their intuitive online system."
Fortis launched in 2008 with five partners: Best Deal, Click, LifeSearch, Personal Touch Financial Services and Torquil Clark.
It has since announced partnerships with Paradigm Group, Direct Life & Pensions and Positive Solutions. Fortis has also integrated with the True Potential platform, accessed by the Positive Solutions network, as well as 250 other IFA firms.
