Succession has appointed Ray Pierce, formerly of American Express and the Bluefin Group, as non executive chairman.
Pierce has over 30 years financial services experience and was more recently non-executive director of Bluefin Group. He has also recently been appointed to the Board of Tesco Bank.
Previously, Pierce was senior vice president of American Express, chief executive of The Mortgage Corporation group and chief executive of Robson Rhodes. He was also the founding Managing Director of Guardian Direct and a main board director of Guardian Royal Exchange at the time a FTSE 100 company.
Simon Chamberlain, Chief Executive of Succession, says: "We are enormously privileged to have someone of Ray's calibre join our business. His breadth of experience, including corporate governance expertise, transactions in quoted environments and new business development, will further enhance our team, making us a truly formidable proposition."
Pierce says Succession has a unique business proposition.
"Whilst there are many businesses claiming to address RDR and wealth consolidation issues, Succession has drawn together a team who have the experience and professional skills to make this a reality and do so successfully."
In November, Succession hired former head of strategic development at Bluefin Advisory Services Ian Shipway to bring his "knowledge of global best practice" to the company.
