Succession hires ex American Express vice president

Succession has appointed Ray Pierce, formerly of American Express and the Bluefin Group, as non executive chairman.

Pierce has over 30 years financial services experience and was more recently non-executive director of Bluefin Group. He has also recently been appointed to the Board of Tesco Bank. Previously, Pierce was senior vice president of American Express, chief executive of The Mortgage Corporation group and chief executive of Robson Rhodes. He was also the founding Managing Director of Guardian Direct and a main board director of Guardian Royal Exchange at the time a FTSE 100 company.
