Steve Bee is to begin working on a new adviser-focused pension proposition in the New Year.
Following the news Bee will step down from his role as head of pensions strategy at Scottish Life in January, Paradigm Group has confirmed he will be working on a new venture for the firm.
Bee will become a partner of Paradigm Group and work with its founder, Paul Hogarth, to develop a new proposition for advisers.
The unnamed company will launch in the second quarter of 2010, providing consultancy services and a suite of products designed in conjunction with the adviser community.
"[Steve] is widely recognized as the UKs leading authority on all things pensions and is regarded as a national treasure by advisers," says Hogarth.
"To have been able to lure him and his thinking away from the manufacturing end of the market into distribution will be of huge benefit to the adviser community and will, I‘m sure, prove to be one of the highlights of my career."
