Chartwell today launches its online ‘Direct Advice' offering to new customers.
The service aims to provide qualified advice from a team of specialist advisers at any time without the need for face to face consultation.
It now advises 2000 clients who were previously advised in person.
Chartwell Direct director Rob Hudson says:"We're leading the way in this new method of advice provision and believe that this type of service can provide ‘easy to access' advice that is so lacking in the market currently .
"As a Group we are already embracing many of the recommendations from the RDR with the development of our own Chartwell ‘Investor Centre' platform which is, in turn, facilitating our move to low-cost, fee-based structures moving forward.
"The Direct Advice service is increasingly being supported by software and platform technologies that give us consistent and highly efficient processes that deliver high quality and easy to understand reports for our clients. Never mind ‘new model', this is ‘next generation' advice giving."
Chartwell is also set to launch an end-to-end digital process integrating adviser software with its platform technology.
