Principal Investment Management has added two senior managers to its investment team as part of its continuing expansion strategy.
Robert Allinson - formerly at Heartwood Wealth as associate director of managed funds - becomes the latest senior investment manager at Principal.
Former UBS associate director Palak Patel also joins as an investment manager.
Hugh Titcomb, Principal's CEO, says: "I am delighted that Palak and Robert will be joining Principal. Both bring a wealth of investment experience to the company and will play a key role in our ambition to develop the business.
He adds: "At present we manage approaching £1bn in client funds from our three offices, London, Sevenoaks, and Bath. I have ambitious growth plans for the company. These two appointments are valuable additions to our investment team."
The appointments are part of a recruitment drive by Principal beginning with the hire of Titcomb in April.
A spokesman for Principal says more appointments are due to follow soon.
