MetLife has teamed up with pensions specialist Dr Ros Altmann to launch a series of roadshows for advisers.
The sessions, to be held across the UK in October and November, will focus on risks and misconceptions when planning for retirement.
During the two hour sessions, Dr Altmann will discuss here recent report, Planning For Retirement: You're On Your Own, and potential new approaches to retirement saving.
The first Roadshows take place in London and Birmingham, on 6 and 7 October respectively, and will then progress to other cities, including Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff and Edinburgh.
Dominic Grinstead, managing director of MetLife UK, says: "Ros Altmann is the leading independent pensions policy adviser in the UK and her insights will be very useful for advisers who are working to help clients cope with retirement planning issues.
"Retirement savings are at a crossroads and the need for new approaches is clear. MetLife is committed to playing its part and we are delighted to be working with Dr Altmann."
