AXA Wealth to shut five pension products in retirement shake-up

AXA Wealth is closing five of its products to new business as it seeks to focus on The One from Winterthur (TOFW) and Elevate.

Unveiling its new single pension proposition today, AXA Wealth says it will incorporate TOFW, the Elevate platform and the AXA Family Sun Trust as the flagship retirement range.  The changes have been made in light of the launch of AXA Winterthur's business model in 2008. To prevent duplication and focus on the flagship range, AXA Wealth is closing a number of products to new business. The Stakeholder Pension Plan, Personal Pension Plan, AXA SIPP, AXA Retirement Solutions range and Trustee Investment Plan will all close from the end of the year.
