Sun Life's buyout of Lincoln's UK business is expected to be complete by next week.
Lincoln UK's head of product and marketing, Simon O'Connor, says the deal will complete on 1 October, though Sun Life have yet to reveal their intentions for the business. Announced in June, the £195m deal will see Canadian life insurer Sun Life Financial acquire Lincoln's UK business. Currently, Sun Life's only presence in the UK is through a closed with-profits fund.
