Friends Provident has updated its link-up with technology solutions provider True Potential to offer advisers real-time valuations for its whole of life and endowment policies.
Advisers will be able to obtain valuations for all their clients’ unit-linked Friends Provident policies including legacy products.
The move will enable them to query clients’ policies through a single business process within their back office system.
Having access to the full product set removes the need for advisers to collate information from different requests for client reports and reviews.
Steve Young, e-business manager at Friends Provident, says: It is far more efficient to have a single process to query all unit linked contracts, than having to rely on phone or extranet services to query certain policy types.”
He believes the system will enable advisers to spend less time on administration and more time strengthening relationships with clients.
“It also provides a valuable foundation to support advisers in meeting the TCF requirement to keep their clients informed post-sale,” he adds.
Mark Henderson, senior partner at True Potential, says: “By having instant access to important information advisers are better equipped to offer a valuable service to their clients, particularly during uncertain times.”
