FSA to run free surgeries for small southern IFAs

The FSA will hold free surgeries for small adviser businesses in the south-west next month.

The surgeries will run in Taunton on 22 April, Bath on 23 April and Bristol on 24 April. Advisers can ask any questions they may have about regulation to a member of FSA staff who supervises small businesses in the one-to-one sessions. The informal meetings will last up to an hour and the FSA will not record any issues discussed. Advisers can book places on the FSA’s website. In January the FSA confirmed its forthcoming treating customers fairly (TCF) assessments of small firms will incur extra fees for IFAs, despite previous claims membership fees would cover the investigations.
