Advisers at Clarkson Hill Group will have the chance to gain more qualifications as part of a company-wide initiative.
The firm is offering diploma level qualifications J04 (Pension Funding Options), and J06 (Investment Principles, Markets and Environment) to all its advisers with a Diploma of Financial Planning.
It says a combination of training and learning events will take place throughout 2008, consisting of face-to-face training days, distance learning programmes and computer based training.
Mike Robinson, group managing director, says additional qualifications will mean better advice for consumers and better business opportunities for advisers.
“We are committed to the professional development of our advisers, and this latest initiative, to build the most highly qualified and valued team of advisers in the UK, can only be good news for our customers,” he says.
“Combined with our commitment to TCF, and compliance in general, we are well positioned to maintain our status as a leading UK national adviser.”
