BNP Paribas Securities Services has linked with Distribution Technology (DT) to add front-end tools to its wrap proposition.
In a move targeted at the adviser community, DT has designed a tailored suite of tools to complement Paribas’ ‘white label’ service.
Paribas offers advisers a wrap designed to individual specifications, from a fully-packed product to a ‘light’ version.
A major player in financial planning and sales software, DT has established connections with names such as Cofunds, Axa and Friends Provident
DT financial planning director Simon Farrant says risk-based tools and asset allocation guides are becoming increasingly important for advisers in selecting a wrap.
“With many wraps, the processing and other systems are very similar so the front-end is now seen as the differentiator,” he says.
“Advisers basically want to know much these tools will make the everyday advice process easier.”
BNP Paribas Securities Services wealth management solutions head Tina Wilkinson says DT is the “ideal partner” for client facing services.
“Our collaboration enables us to deliver best of breed wrap solutions for providers, IFA networks, and in turn, their clients,” she says.
