Alliance & Leicester International has appointed James Hammal as key account manager.
Hammal, who will work closely with the firm’s sales and marketing manager Simon Ripton, will be responsible for building relationships with advisers and wealth managers.
He will also be offering the company’s full range of products for non-personal customers including companies, charities and trusts.
Simon Ripton says: “James brings a wealth of experience to his role, having spent more than seven years within the offshore industry.
“In today’s market, many IFAs and wealth managers are looking for a more cautious approach to their client’s investment portfolios and offshore deposit based investments meet this requirement.
“Over the next 12 months, James will be promoting a better understanding of the benefits of saving offshore, and highlighting the specialist and dedicated services we offer.”
Hammal adds: “This is a fantastic opportunity for me to be involved in developing further Alliance & Leicester International’s reputation as one of the leading offshore deposit takers.
“It is also a role that will enable me to increase our profile within the Wealth Management marketplace.”
