Elsmark joins SWIP as Europe MD

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) has appointed Christian Elsmark as managing director for Europe.

Elsmark, who has held posts with JPMorgan Asset Management and Rothschild, joins from BNP Paribas multi-management business FundQuest where he was managing director. He will report to sales and marketing director Simon Wombwell in the newly created role and will focus on expanding SWIP’s European client base. Before joining BNP Paribas in 2005 Elsmark was head of investment services at T. Rowe Price.
