AXA extends distribution reach with new hire

AXA Investment Managers has broadened the reach of its distribution with the appointment of James Wallace to the new role of sales manager, global distribution and family offices.

Reporting to Robert Bailey, head of UK retail sales, Wallace commenced this new role on 15 October. He joins from Collins Stewart, where he was a stockbroker with the Capital Markets desk focusing on small cap equities and specialist investment trusts. His previous jobs included working for Baring Asset Management, where he was assistant director of sales responsible for discretionary London accounts since 1997.
