Invesco Perpetual has created a branded website offering advisers webcast guidance on practice management and investment issues.
Describing the new site as an ‘intermediary training website’, Invesco says in addition to the webcasts, advisers will also be able to access up-to-date market views around the clock from its fund managers and investment experts.
Each webcast, available in both video and audio, lasts approximately five minutes and covers issues surrounding technical investment, market and funds commentary and "business value" - otherwise recognised as business management - while users will also receive update alerts about the site.
The company says it has decided to set up ‘Investment Intelligence Online’ as research suggests travelling to and from seminars can take up too much of an adviser’s time during the day.
More specifically, individuals can view or listen to guidance from Invesco officials explaining, for example, risk metrics, how an intermediary firm might work out what it might charge clients in presentations such as how much is your time really worth and communications skills.
The investment house says it intends to issue a regular series of practice management guidance webcasts and investment market guidance through this password-protected site.
