AXA Framlington has continued its recent recruitment drive by adding former Hexam manager Neil Denman to its emerging markets team.
Denman reports to William Calvert, who runs the £165.5m AXA Framlington Emerging Markets fund.
In addition, the emerging markets team is responsible for the Luxembourg domiciled offshore version of the EM fund, as well as institutional mandates.
Denman moves from Hexam Capital Partners, where he was co-manager of its Global Resources Absolute Return fund.
His appointment follows the recent additions of Andy Smith to run the AXA Framlington Biotech fund and Anu Narula on the global equity desk.
“Neil is a highly skilled analyst and stock picker and will be a great asset to our highly successful emerging markets team,” AXA Framlington chief executive Robert Kyprianou says.
“We are now seeing a lot of interest in our capability from investors in Europe as well as those in the UK.
“It is therefore important for us to continue to strengthen, enhance and support the growing team."
