Knight Frank has consolidated its investment management and private equity divisions under the Rutley Capital Partners (RCP) brand.
RCP is Knight Frank’s fully-owned real estate private equity business, managing two commercial property funds from Europe and Russia.
Listed on the LSE, the Rutley European Property fund concentrates on commercial property prospects on the continent, while the recently launched Rutley Russia Property fund invests in standing and development commercial assets in the former Soviet state.
With about £1bn under management, the combined business is run by managing partners Rick Abbott, Nick Burnell and Robert Hannington.
“This is a significant step forward in the development of our fund management business,” Burnell says.
"It is intended to ensure that, within a single team, we fully harness the excellent resource base we have at our disposal.
“Integrated deployment of the specialist disciplines that exist in RCP lies at the heart of our philosophy of creating compelling, well structured investment propositions and delivering good financial returns to our investors.”
