Pima expands team to develop investment training

Carol Knight, former Skandia manager for new Pep, Isa and unit trust business, has joined Pima to take on the expansion of its training and education services.

Knight will focus on developing training courses for modules of the Investment Administration Qualification – targeted at introducers and paraplanners – which is offered by the Securities Institute, in her new role as head of member services at Pima. She will also develop training and support services to cover other tax-incentivised products such as the Child Trust Fund to be launched next year. PIMA expects to receive official accreditation as a training provider from both the Securities Institute and the new Skills Council in the coming months. IFAonline
