Mortgage sourcing firm Trigold has teamed up with Norwich Union (NU) to offer a protection product through its platform.
The product – NU’s Simplified Life Insurance - will be built into Trigold’s Prospector AAA tool and offers online real-time quotes and underwriting.
Trigold says the enhancements will provide advisers with the opportunity to “tap into a new revenue stream and write more protection business”.
It says the enhancements to the Prospector platform will encourage insurance to be considered earlier in the sales process and provide the client with an “all in” cost of financing the mortgage.
